This is the Blog for Acru and Blackavar's Ship servers. This will chronicle our experiences with running the servers as well as provide a better support for those who enjoy playing on our servers and hopefully feed back about game play.
Now that it is possible to get some insane scores in DM. What is your highest score? Come on and brag about it.

Just wondering if you, Acru & Blackavar, are ever going to put your Deathmatch server back online. It is very difficult to find a good server and my friends and I miss yours. Some of my friends are banned from one of the available servers and if we play on the other the rest of us will be banned. This is leaving our options very limited. I don't have the means or knowledge to start my own and we really appreciated the choice we had in yours. I appologize for the anonymous posting, but I think it will be best given the times. Thank you for the consideration.
I do plan to get the DM server back up and running. We took it down for the time being while we test out Zombie Panic. At the moment there isn't enough RAM to run multiple servers on the hosting machine.
I am aware of the bans that are going on on some of the other servers. While I understand the issues involved with the reasons people have been kick/banned on some of the other DM servers, I think it comes down to a few fundamental principles of morality. I see ship as PG-13 game and possibly even R rated for its violence, therefore language is not an issue for me. If a parent has purhcased this game for their children and allowed them to play online, then the parent has given a blanket consent for the child to be exposed to possible adult language. Others do not see it that way and are entitled to their believes.
I really do not see ship as having a large enough fan base to support kick/bans. Personally I wish banning wasn't an automatic feature and only reserved for admins. The one and only reason you might get banned on my server is for racial slurs.
I will look into bringing the DM server back as soon as I can.
